ALLFIX 6.0 NEWS UPDATE!

After several months of relative quiet on the ALLFIX development front, it gives me great pleasure to announce what I have been working on since the 5.13 release, earlier this year.

Over the past few years many of you have asked me if I could build an echomail tosser into ALLFIX. You guys have finally convinced me to give it a shot! For several months now, ALLFIX 6.0 has been in beta testing. We've set up a special beta team specifically for testing the new echomail tossing features. ALLFIX 6 has been holding up very well which means that a public release will be ready before the end of this year.

ALLFIX 6.0 will toss echomail to the following message bases:

  • Hudson message base,
  • *.MSG message base,
  • EzyCom message base,
  • Squish message base,
  • JAM message base,
  • PCBoard message base, and the
  • GoldBase message base.

    I hope that everyone realizes that adding an echomail tosser to ALLFIX requires a lot of work. This means that ALLFIX 6.0 is far from ready for release. I hope that you guys can remain patient for a little while longer as I and the beta team put the finishing touches on this new release of ALLFIX.
